Botox and other neurotoxins work by relaxing muscles to not only reduce wrinkles but also aid in relieving mild to moderate level of facial pain. From headaches, migraines, stress, occlusion or TMJ Syndrome, Botox can relieve these symptoms. This non-invasive procedure is an excellent alternative to surgery and other aggressive treatments.

Botox and Dermal fillers are used to achieve a more relaxed and smooth facial appearance while still having freedom of expression. There’s never been a better time to refresh and renew your image. Achieve smooth facial folds and wrinkles and quickly enhance your lips and smile.

What to Expect

A health history will be taken along with a comprehensive exam called the myofascial exam when dealing with TMJ pain. This includes testing muscles of the head and neck to identify the source of the pain. The most important part of your treatment is that they will listen to your concerns, whether it be for aesthetic purposes and/or therapeutic pain relief.

If you are interested in aesthetic treatment with Botox and/or dermal filler, pre- treatment photos will be taken. They will discuss what you are interested in treating whether it be your forehead lines, the lines between your eyes “the 11’s”, and/or smile lines that involve your eyes and around the mouth.

Typically, a person that is seeking neurotoxin treatment for aesthetic purposes, results may vary and can take anywhere from five to seven days. The same neurotoxin is used for pain and can take up to one month to find relief. When procedures are used with dermal filler, results are immediate! There is always the chance of bruising and swelling so scheduling an appointment at least two weeks before a special event is recommended.

Individuals gain confidence in their appearances as well as find an escape from pain and discomfort. Take control of your life and call us today to schedule!
